When demand outstrips tickets, sellers can open a listing to bids instead of picking a price. Bidding is open, anonymous and protected by the same escrow as every other sale.
Sellers set the floor
Pick a starting bid, an optional reserve price, and when bidding closes. If the reserve isn't met, nothing sells.
Students bid live
Bids climb in £1 steps and bidders stay anonymous — you only ever see the current bid and how many are in. Outbid? You pay nothing.
Winner pays protected
The highest bidder checks out through the same escrow-protected payment as any other purchase, within 24 hours of the auction closing.
Why Last Entry is safer than a group chat
Students only
Sign-up requires a valid .ac.uk university email. You're only ever dealing with other verified Sheffield students.
Payment protection
Your money is held securely until after the event. If your ticket doesn't get you in, you can claim a refund.
Genuine tickets
We check each uploaded ticket and block duplicates, so the same ticket can't be sold twice.
Fair pricing
Fixed-price listings are capped at face value, and every fee is shown before you pay. Only open auctions — where students set the price by bidding — can close higher.
One ticket, one owner
The moment a sale completes, the seller's copy is voided and the buyer becomes the only holder of the ticket.
Fraud protection
Suspicious activity is flagged and bad actors are removed, keeping the marketplace safe for everyone.
